Three Ways Newsletters Can Help Your Business

by Lemon Drop on August 20, 2010

Does your company have a newsletter? We hope the answer is “Yes!” because if you don’t, you’re missing a great opportunity! If you do already have a newsletter, there are tips to make it work harder for your company. Also, your company’s newsletter is not the only one you should be paying attention to…

Watch this week’s edition of the “Social Media Minute” video series by Alan Underkofler as he explains the benefits of getting and sending out newsletters.

Important points to remember from Alan:

    1) Make sure you are sending your newsletters to not only all current customers but  past customers too.

    2) Subscribe to all major competitors’ newsletters.

    3) Learn what the experts are doing! Subscribe to the newsletters of companies who have successful and popular newsletters.

    4) Remember that newsletters are free and can easily be unsubscribed to, so your company really has nothing to lose and everything to gain from newsletters!

We hope you enjoyed the Social Media Minute and I look forward to your thoughts and comments.  Please subscribe to the Square Martini Media YouTube channel and if you have a question you would like covered on the Social Media Minute, let us know by giving us your Social Media Minute Question.

I’ve spoken with a number of companies who produce their own newsletter, and do a good job of it, but they sadly miss your second recommendation – Subscribing to the competition! It’s not only a great way to see what they’re up to, but also serves as a catalyst for inspiring your own team to come up with new ideas that will keep you ahead of your competitors!
