Using Social Media Share Buttons to Increase Website Traffic From Linkedin

by Alan Underkofler on March 31, 2010

I am constantly asked how I use Linkedin to grow my business.  For a lot of businesses and professionals Linkedin is a mystery.  Often times when we speak on using Social Media to grow your business we will ask by show of hands “who has a Linkedin account?”.  Typically most of the room will raise their hand.  Of course when we follow up with “who has received businesses or referrals from Linkedin?” or “who knows how to use Linkedin for their business?” only one or two hands will remain!

With this in mind I made a very short video on a simple way to create brand awareness as well as drive traffic to your website or blog by using social media share buttons and Linkedin.  Take a moment and watch it:

Now that you have watched this video let’s take it one step further and share it with one of your Linkedin groups!  Simply click on the share link below and click on the Linkedin button!  Of course in order to take this step you will need to have a Linkedin account and be in at least one Linkedin group.

Thank you in advance for sharing the post and please take a moment and connect with me Alan Underkofler and my partner at Square Martini Media Angie Swartz on Linkedin!

It’s amazing how the simple things can really boost web site traffic and more followers to your blog or social media account. I wrote a comment on the Small Biz Nation LinkedIn group talking about how amazing the speed of mind share is today. Great simple post. Also check out the “Making Small Business Happen” LinkedIn group for some good discussions.
